Award ceremony

The award ceremony is the finale of the 'Through the Lens' project it is a thank you to all participants and a celebration of the achievements of everyone involved. 

International photographer, Andy Earl  will be presenting prizes and speaking about his own experience within the industry. Andy Earl is best known for his work in the music industry with the Rolling Stones, Madonna and Johnny Cash. His work is diverse, often incorporating dramatic natural backdrops and architectural elements to create a surrealistic effect. 

Martin Coyne , workshop leader will be talking about his experience throughout the project, commending the exhibition as one of the judges. Martin is a documentary and historical photographer who has also had the opportunity to travel through work. 

The ceremony will take place at Hot Rocks Cocktail Bar & Restaurant, along the Pier approach on Monday 8th March 2010 with a drinks reception from 6pm. It will be a chance for like minded photographers of all levels to gather and network. 

The exhibition on the pier will be opened on the evening of the 8th March for a special private view for all who attend the ceremony.
